A huge scene was put in place at the Morrisons petrol station
A man was found in a ‘serious condition’ on a petrol station forecourt before the area was taped off by emergency crews on Sunday night (March 17).
Police and paramedics were called to the Morrisons petrol station on Oldham Road in Failsworth at around 7pm. A huge scene was put in place following the incident.
A number of police vehicles and ambulances were pictured at the scene, with officers conducting investigations for a number of hours.
It is thought the man had arrived by car before he suffered a medical episode after getting out of his vehicle.
He was found by a member of the public minutes later, and was rushed to hospital from the scene in a ‘serious condition’, GMP said.
The petrol station was closed with the main entrance also blocked due to the forecourt being taped off. Investigations were being carried out near to an automatic car wash.
Further details about the age of the man and his condition have not been confirmed by police.
